My friend and I had lunch here and asked for separate checks. I noticed they charged me for her lunch and her for mine. Mine was more expensive so I felt bad and pointed out the issue to the waitress. The owner was extremely rude about it and blamed us even though we had not run our own credit cards obviously. I told her how nasty she was being and she had the audacity to chew me out and continue to do so after I was out the door. Yelling at me and calling me a very strong curse word.
Our group was very happy with their choices. We had separate checks and they prefer that we pay in cash to make it easier on the server. Our server was very good and I believe everyone felt well care for. We'll be back.
The location is nice, food was good. I had the chilli relleno, cheese enchilada and taco combination plate. It came with beans and rice too. I'm just not a fan of American yellow cheese over everything, maybe use of some queso fresco would be good.
The relleno and taco were tasty, freshly fried up!
The waitress was very nice, but they seemed under staffed as service took longer than expected (and she was the only one working the floor). I'd recommend trying it all in all.

Marcella was our waitress and was very friendly and kind, however the owner Maria was extremely rude, talked down snatching credit cards and tickets. She also made the remark "There are other Mexican restaurants" I am very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to patronize this place. The food was good, but the service was deplorable.

The food here has an authentic, Sonoran style. Dishes are prepared from scratch, and the ingredients tasted fresh. My only suggestion would be to sit down and eat at this restaurant, rather than order takeout. The portions seemed to be lessened, given the price of the dish.
What I ordered: rice, beans, chicken enchilada, with beef tamale and beef taco.
Waitress made us feel unwelcome, like she didn't want us to be there. Food is very average. I won't be back. There are too many better Mexican restaurants in Tucson to receive sub par service and food.
We had carryout enchiladas and taco combo. It was good, pretty standard Mexican food. Ready when it was supposed to be, friendly staff.
Great service. AMAZING food. Everything home made. Nothing canned or reheated.... what a gem!
